Douglas Banty

Doug Banty is MGM’s President and Chief Operating Officer. He oversees MGM’s worldwide operations including the manufacturing facilities in California and Tijuana, MX, and the distribution center in San Diego, California. Doug also leads the Sales, Procurement, and IT departments.

Prior to MGM, Doug working as a consultant at Bain & Company where he specialized in Operations and Mergers & Acquisitions within the Technology, Industrials, and Private Equity practices.

Despite being tall, Doug did not play for the vaunted Villanova basketball team while in college.  However, he did serve the team in a variety of support positions including winning the coveted “Ballboy of the Year” trophy in three consecutive years. Doug holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University.
