Please join us in welcoming Jim Gibson to the MGM Transformer family! As Vice President of Channel Sales, Jim’s role will include the development of the MGM national sales channel and driving profitable sales growth through distribution and vertical markets.
He held various sales leadership positions at Emerson Electric driving the SolaHD, Appleton, OZ Gedney and Easyheat brands in US and Canada. In addition, Jim served as the National Sales Manager at Hammond Power Solutions for 6 years where he developed the HPS agent network and distribution sales channels. While at Hammond, Jim developed and actively managed senior and strategic relationships at global, national, and regional distribution partners, national buying groups and strategic corporate accounts. He recruited top level regional sales management talent and have assembled one of the strongest Regional Sales and Manufacturer’s Representative channels in the transformer/magnetics industry. As a result, Jim assisted in growing HPS’s channel sales from $55MM to $90MM.
MGM is very excited to have Jim on board. With its vision of focusing on channel sales, Jim’s experience and relentless drive is an imperative piece of MGM’s growth strategy. Jim holds an Electrical Engineering Technology degree from Penn State and a Business degree from Albright College.
