We test every transformer to satisfy the standards required by IEEE Standard C57.12.01 for Dry-Type Transformers and IEEE Standard C57.12.00 for liquid filled transformers. Our testing equipment ensures the highest quality transformers that meet all IEEE, and NEMA standards. We also offer customer witness testing on individual transformers and have the capability of providing a range of design tests and optional tests such as impulse, partial discharge, temperature rise, sound level, and others.
As a result of the confidence we have in our product quality, we are excited to announce that we are increasing the product warranty that we extend for our stocked ‘AA’ products. We formerly offered 1 year and effective immediately we will be increasing to 10 years!

MGM Transformer Company hereinafter referred as “MGM” warrants that its Stocked Low Voltage products, “AA Products”, meet applicable design specifications and are free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty period is 10 YEARS from the date of factory shipment. MGM’s liability is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product. MGM’s entire liability shall be limited to the purchase price of the product, and in no way shall MGM be liable for any consequential damages. MGM shall have no liability for problems resulting from accident, or improper application, installation, operation, or repair. This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties. The laws of Los Angeles, CA shall prevail.
